Network Consultant


The network begins with those around you: parents, friends. Through them it is already possible to cover a broad field of action.

Then, the contacts school and university: privilege those of your higher education, because there is more probability that these people work in the same field as you. For that, several means are at your disposal:



Make an exhaustive list of all the people you know by categorizing them

Have you kept in touch with some people who have followed the same training as you? Solicit them! They also have contacts and have probably kept in touch with other people you do not see anymore.
Alumni associations: in many courses, an alumni association publishes a directory, promotes contacts between alumni. Although it may seem tedious, it is a way to expand your address book and at the same time to know the course of those who followed the same courses as you. Do not hesitate to contact your teachers, those who covered the area in which you operate.

Professionals met during the internship, colleagues and all the people with whom you kept contact. Find out who will be the best person to answer or help you. But also your former work colleagues, those in the companies where you previously worked can be helpful.

In your previous jobs, you have been in contact with customers, suppliers or even colleagues, they are also part of your network.

The prescription: this means is not to find a job, but to expand your network. A job interests you, get in touch with a person who occupies this position, to talk with her about what she does, her career. With this method, you go to a professional and can ask him to reorient you eventually to people looking for your profile or more able to answer you. She is also part of your network.
